What you need
- A Windows computer
- The Ulkaa Account app, which comes with Jaal, signed in with a free Ulkaa account
- An internet connection for sync
Jaal for Windows has no public download yet. Set up your Ulkaa account to be ready when it does.
macOS and Linux: not available yet.
Switching
Switching takes a minute
Jaal finds the browsers on your computer and brings across your bookmarks, history, search engines and passwords.
- Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox
- Safari through its export files
- Chrome 127 and newer need their password export file
After you install
Four steps to get set up
Sign in with Ulkaa Account
Choose the account in the avatar menu and confirm it in the Ulkaa Account window.
Turn on password sync
Choose a recovery code or an Argon2id passphrase to protect the key.
Choose what to sync
Bookmarks and settings sync. History is opt-in.
Import your old browser
Bring bookmarks, history, search engines and passwords across.

Jaal is free, and so is sync. It runs on Windows, and other systems are being tested.
